I just got off the phone with an old friend from junior high. Just talking to him makes me miss him! It seems that when I talk to some of my blasts from the pasts they are only concerned with catching me up on their busy, fun lives. Don't get me wrong, I really do love to hear about their single jet setting ways. I will admit that I kind of get jealous when I hear that someone has dumped $700.00 on a pair of shoes for their up coming trip to Rome, but nothing makes me happier than someone asking how my kids are. It's really is the small things in life that make my heart melt. He was genuinely concerned with how my family is.
Thank you for making my day Tree Man! I hope to see you on Saturday for my-oh-so-fun birthday party!!
