This was one of the longest weekends of my entire life. Seriously, I am counting the SECONDS until the doctors office open so I can call for an appointment. Jack seems to be feeling ok as long as we give him a breathing treatment every 3 hours. No longer than that. Yes, every 3 hours around the clock. Thankfully super Scotty-So-Hotty has been the overnight breathing treatment guy and I have been the rock you back to sleep for the millionth time during the night gal. Team work my friends, team work. 1 hour and 21 minutes until the office opens...
Good news! Alex pulled himself up into sitting position from his tummy this weekend. He crawls over to a toy or the ledge and pulls himself up. This is a big accomplishment for a low muscle tone baby. He is still having problems with keeping solid foods down and with his speech but everything else with the development seems to be on schedule. I think that the therapist comes on Tuesday this week and if I remember correctly he will have a speech eval.
Peace out Bloggerville, I am off to a fun filled day!!

Just surfing through. I'm lifting a prayer for little Jack. He's a cute little bugger. Take care of him.
Praying for you! You and your hubby sound like a great team. I have enjoyed getting to know you. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
I am saying a quick prayer for Jack.
And yay for Alex--that is some awesome progress. He'll be standing before you know it! (I remember I would put toys and play with them on a low table to get him to stay up--maybe you could try this with Alex?)
Andrea, it was great meeting you at Archivers.
I have been reading about your kiddo and I've been praying for you and your family. Don't worry Jack will get through this. My husband is living proof of that, he is still asthmatic and is on a prevent-al and inhaler. Swimming was his biggest help and made his lungs much stronger and able to take deeper breaths. Hang in there.
Hope to see you at Archivers again soon!
Andrea,
Thanks for the comment. Still no baby yet, but our wait will be over tomorrow night/Thursday morning. I hope your son is doing well. Asthma is a big fear of ours in that my husband had asthma as a child and his mother still does. We've had one close call with our son, but he was on the breathing treatment for a week and was all better. I hope that all goes well for you and your kiddo.
